Donna & Richard - oh what a joy of a couple, united by laughter and love! When looking for a venue for their wedding, they absolutely fell in love with Courteenhall which is a stunning Northamptonshire period home set in a beautiful parkland setting. Having seen one of our previous weddings, we were thrilled when they got in touch as we adore working there and as soon as we met, I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding to be involved with. Donna & Richard were married in their local church followed by a reception in a marquee in the grounds of Courteenhall with all guests transported by a wonderful old, London bus.
We loved the soft colour palette for the florals; Donna wanted the flowers to be predominantly white with lots of green/grey foliage but she was very open to our suggestion of incorporating some blush tones. We couldn’t resist adding some of our very favourite garden roses, along with some other summer beauties including, scabious, ammi, astilbe, waxflower all finished with some beautiful hand tied, trailing silk ribbon from Little Acorn Silks. The gorgeous flower girls had some tiny posies of daisies and gypsophila which were so pretty and delicate.
What a gorgeous setting for the drinks reception and a few quiet moments alone before the fun begins.
Huge thanks to LSL Photography for sharing all their fabulous images.
It was a super hot day but with the marquee sides open onto the beautiful parkland, it was magical.
Donna & Richard love entertaining and share a passion for Italy, so they wanted to incorporate some elegant but simple touches to the wedding reception which was set to be the most perfect fine dining with Lemon Zest on board.
Huge congratulations you gorgeous pair, I hope you have a married life full of laughter, joy and happiness.
Much love, Joules xxx
