Janine & Will had a rustic barn wedding at the stunning Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire on what turned out to be a gloriously sunny day, truly magical in every way. I am so excited to share a few moments of their day, captured so perfectly by the awesome talent that is Jen Marino Photography.

With the barn dressed, the signage in place and the 2 large milk churns filled with autumnal blooms for the ceremony, the bridal preparations begin. The walk through the canopy from the Nook to the ceremony is led by the most gorgeous flower girls, how adorable do they look 💕

When Janine & Will first came to see me, they didn’t know a huge amount about flowers but Janine had chosen some beautiful plum coloured dresses for her bridesmaids and she knew she wanted a rich palette with some paler tones. We suggested a wide variety of seasonal blooms with rich plums, dark reds with pops of blush and masses of textured foliage.

The barn looks absolutely stunning anyway with the beautiful honey coloured stone walls and myriad of oak beams. Once the twinkling fairy lights are in place, you don’t need a huge amount of floral decor to dress the barn. With Janine & Will having sharing platters, we decided that the most practical and stylish option was to have lines of foliage running down the centre of the 2 long trestle tables - we used olive, rosemary & eucalyptus for a simple and effective solution.

After some moments of quiet and calm in the beautiful gardens, the moment comes when you can greet your guests as a married couple and really start the party!

Just look at these magical shots with the most beautiful evening light - Jen Marino you are a genius behind the lens!

Huge congratulations Janine & Will, you guys were just awesome and so relaxed about letting me loose with your flowers. Thank you for picking us, we wish you every happiness on your journey together.

Much love, Joules xx
