When Amy first came to see me, I was completely drawn in by her enthusiasm, her passion for her wedding was so infectious and we clearly shared a love for flowers. Even if Amy couldn’t name every flower variety, she knew what she wanted and I was up for the challenge! Amy & Elliott had planned to marry in the church in the market town where Amy grew up followed by a marquee reception in the grounds of her family home. Amy’s mum worked her magic in the garden (which was already stunning) by the time June came, it looked absolutely glorious. All the magical moments of this gorgeous wedding have been captured so beautifully by Dominika Miechowska Photography

The marquee nestled beautifully in the rear garden; Cotswold Marquees rose to the challenge of constructing it over a tree which had sat in the middle the lawn and became “pride of place” at the heart of the wedding breakfast! Not wanting to compete with the “tree” we hung 4 of our metal hoops in each corner and set about decorating them with an abundance of textured foliage to create a lush, garden feel. Each table had a central urn full of seasonal flowers, comprising garden roses, scabious, astilbe, sweet peas & astrantia. Once the marquee was set up, it was over to the house to deliver the bouquets & buttonholes.

Well the sun did shine on Amy & Elliott but the heaven’s opened during the service so the wedding celebrations began in the church, after a mad dash by brave volunteers who went to collect some wine - love it!

Once the rain cleared, it was back to the house for full on fun in the marquee, after some classic group shots of course!

We loved the cheese and pie cake, perfect for those with a taste for the savory but trickier when it comes to the official “cutting”!

Amy & Elliott, what can I say other thank “thank you’ for picking us, we had an absolute ball working with you to make your day extra special. Having such a fun and free brief was a complete joy for us and we loved every moment. We wish you every happiness and a fun filled adventure together as Mr & Mrs Sharpe.

Much love, Joules & The Girls xxx
